Saturday Night Live: Hazelrigg, Cenius and Carlos Danger’s Inbox set for the Uptowner

Three acts for two bucks tonight at Macs’ Uptowner on the square in Charleston as three local musical mainstays occupy the stage starting at 9:30 p.m.

Todd Hazelrigg opens the evening with his one-man acoustic Americana show. Hazelrigg has been in residence at Macs’ on Wednesday nights for a while, and performs often around the area.

Here’s Hazelrigg performing “Kankakee.”

Cenius has performed several times at the Uptowner, splitting the bill with the likes of Mustache and NIL8. Band mastermind Seth Asbell has a different lineup tonight for this hard-driving mix of originals and covers.

Here’s a live recording of “Conversations” from an earlier show.

Carlos Danger’s Inbox rounds out the bill, making their debut at the Uptowner. The slimmed-down 4-piece will also premiere some new songs, new instruments and new roles in the musical mix during this first show of the new year.

Here’s CDI performing a cover of The Tim Blys’ “Dead Horse Town” from an earlier performance.

Cover is $2. You must be 21 or older to enter.
